I’m a food writer with a day-job. But food is always on my mind. Where can I get something tasty? What will it be? Can I write about it? The first thing I think of when I travel is, where will we eat? (To answer that question, I start with www.roadfood.com) When I get off the elevator at work (4th floor) I can tell if someone has brought in food (cookies, usually, though occasionally a whole ham). I can smell it. This is my chance to write what I want, without an editor between draft and final. Here goes…
